1. Introduction
Cubiculi SA (hereinafter “we”, “Hine Adon”), operator of the aparthotel Hine Adon, is committed to protecting your personal data and processing it transparently, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, 2023 revision) and, for visitors located in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This policy describes which data we collect when you visit www.hineadon.com, why we collect it, how we protect it and what your rights are.

3. Data we collect
3.1 Data you provide voluntarily
You may contact us by telephone or email. In that case, we process the data you voluntarily share (name, email, message content, phone number).
Our website has no online contact form: data entered in your email client or phone app does not pass through our website.
3.2 Data collected automatically (statistics cookies)
If you accept statistics cookies, certain browsing data are collected automatically via Google Analytics 4:
- pages viewed and visit duration;
- device type, browser and screen resolution;
- traffic source (referring site);
- approximate geographic location (region or city, via IP address);
- IP address (processed by Google, not stored directly by Cubiculi SA).
Without your consent, these cookies are not activated and these data are not collected for audience measurement.
3.3 Embedded third-party services
Open-Meteo — to display real-time weather in the footer, your
browser sends a request to api.open-meteo.com. This request may include
your IP address. Open-Meteo does not create a user profile and does not place cookies on
our site. See their terms at
open-meteo.com.
Mews — if you click “Book” or “Book Now”, you are redirected to
the Mews booking platform (app.mews.com). Booking data (name,
dates, payment) are processed by Mews under its own privacy policy.
4. Purposes and legal bases

5. Retention periods
- Email correspondence: 2 years after the last contact, then deletion.
- Statistics cookies (Google Analytics): maximum 14 months.
- Cookie preferences: 12 months, then a new consent request.
- Server logs (host Infomaniak): according to Infomaniak’s policy (generally 30 to 90 days).
6. Where your data are stored
We do not centralise all your data on a single server. Depending on the type of information, storage works as follows:

Important: we do not keep a centralised database listing all website visitors and their choices. If you request access to your data, we look in the relevant tools (messaging, Mews, Google Analytics, Infomaniak logs) according to the nature of your request.
7. Cookies and trackers
7.1 What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. It allows the site to remember certain information.

We use no marketing cookies (no advertising, no tracking pixel, no remarketing).
7.4 Managing your preferences
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Your choice applies immediately: if you reject statistics cookies, Google Analytics is not activated.
You can also configure your browser to refuse cookies. Note that this may affect some site features.
8. Sharing and transfers of data
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Google LLC (United States) — Google Analytics 4, audience measurement. Transfer covered by the EU standard contractual clauses.
- Open-Meteo — weather request, without profiling.
- Mews — online booking, only if you use the platform.
- Infomaniak Network SA — website hosting, Switzerland.
9. Your rights
Under the revised FADP and the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access — obtain a copy of your data;
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data;
- Erasure — request deletion of your data;
- Restriction — limit processing;
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- Portability — receive your data in a structured format;
- Withdrawal of consent — at any time, without affecting prior processing.
To exercise these rights: reception@hineadon.com. We respond within 30 days. Depending on the type of data, the reply may come from our internal tools (messaging), Google Analytics, Mews or Infomaniak — see section 6 above.
You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
10. Security
Cubiculi SA implements technical and organisational measures to protect your data: HTTPS connection, secure hosting in Switzerland (Infomaniak), limited access to data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the last revision is shown at the top of the document. In the event of a material change, we will inform you via the website.
